Suyoung Park is a UK-based multidisciplinary artist working across movement and visual art.

 

Her practice spans contemporary dance, performance art, Korean traditional movement and visual storytelling.

Originally from South Korea, she is a core member of Kassna, an interdisciplinary performing arts collective advocating for East Asian female migrant voices in the UK.

 

With Kassna, she has created and performed in works including Standing in Between, Heterogeneous Aesthetics, Origins of GOOT and Cancelling Tiger, exploring themes of identity, migration and belonging.

 

Her work has been presented internationally through residencies including Institut für Alles Mögliche in Germany and Joya: arte + ecología in Spain, as well as festivals in the UK and South Korea. 

 

She creates poetic and immersive experiences that connect personal narratives with broader cultural and social questions.
